Gastric Balloon
Gastric Balloon is an alternative weight loss treatment for patients who can’t or won’t undergo a surgical procedure. Using Endoscopy, an inflatable balloon is temporarily placed into the stomach to create a sense of fullness and limit the amount of food the stomach can hold. The Gastric Balloon is removed with Endoscopy again after 6 or 12 months, depending on the material used. Gastric Balloons are an effective method to loose weight for patients who can’t seem to benefit from exercise and a healthy diet.
